How I solved the 4 biggest problems holding most tappers back from getting the most out of their tapping practice

If Tapping Works So Well...Why Doesn’t It Always Work For You?

I can still remember my awe and wonder the first time I had a magical response from tapping.

Since learning tapping a few weeks earlier, I was having some success with it. Nothing too dramatic, but I could feel it working and I chalked up my less-than-perfect track record to the fact that I was new to the tool.

While staying at my sister's house, I had woken up in the middle of the night with the most horrendous headache. It felt as if a dagger had been plunged into the top of my head. I didn't have any pain meds with me and I didn't want to wake my sister, so I thought I'd try that tapping thing I had just learned.

Two minutes later I was pain free. A few minutes after that I was asleep.

It wasn’t until I woke up the next morning that the magnitude of what had happened really hit me.

I was stunned and amazed and speechless at what I had experienced.

I know I am not alone in experiencing the magic
When I am working with new clients I like to ask, "How did you find your way to tapping and why do you use it?"

After telling me how they were first introduced to tapping, they often share a moment where something magical happened as a result of doing some tapping:

  • a stubborn limiting belief that had been dogging them for years evaporated
  • a physical pain simply melted away
  • an overpowering emotion faded into a distant memory to the extent that it almost felt like a dream

When tapping works like this, it feels nothing short of miraculous.

I am willing to guess that you fall into one of two camps. Either you have had one of these powerful tapping experiences, but can't seem to replicate it consistently OR you have heard stories like this, but haven't been able to capture the magic yourself.

Inconsistent or lackluster results can get in the way of your tapping practice. Your subconscious mind wonders if this will be one of those tapping sessions where you put in effort and don't get results. When we feel like this, we simply give up trying.

AND it makes sense. Why would you spend time and effort on something that doesn't work well or only works occasionally?

Over the last eighteen months I have been giving all this a lot of thought and I have come to the conclusion that there are four main problems that tappers face when they sit down to tap. These issues not only get in the way of results in the moment, but they also sap our motivation to use tapping in the future.

This doesn't only apply to newbie tappers; these problems affect skilled and experienced tappers too.

Here are the four tapping killers I've identified:

Problem 1: The tapping falls flat and you don't get as much out of tapping as you hoped

You sit down to tap and you do all the "right" things.

You choose an issue.

You say your setup statement.

You tap through the points...and it kind of helps.

You feel a little bit of relief and you are definitely more relaxed…but the transformation is not happening in the deep, reliable way it’s supposed to.

It is nothing like one of those past powerful sessions, and certainly nothing like the stories your tapping friends are telling about their impressive results.

You want tapping to work. You’ve seen it work.

But when you do it on your own, it feels weak, disconnected, and not nearly as powerful as it’s supposed to be.

So, you start to wonder:

  • Is it me?
  • Am I missing something?
  • Maybe this just works better for other people

Instead of giving up, you try harder. You try to dig deeper into the issue. You rack your brain trying to find any memories that might be related in some way, but you draw a blank.

Because the results are so underwhelming, it doesn't even feel like you tapped. Even the small amount of relaxation you felt is overridden by your frustration at the lack of meaningful results.

Problem 2: You don’t know where to start, so you either freeze or fake it

If you are anything like me, you have a mile-long list of issues you could tap on.

And every time you sit down to tap, it feels as if when you clear one issue, you uncover three more.

Because of this, when you want to tap you have too many emotions, too many issues, and no clear starting point. When you finally start tapping, you waste half your energy trying to figure out where to begin.

That overwhelming tangle of issues quickly turns into hesitation.

The hesitation turns into shallow and unfocused tapping.

And shallow tapping turns into, “See? This tapping thing doesn’t work for me.”

Problem 3: You think you’ve found "the issue" only it’s too big, too vague, or not what’s really going on

You have set aside a good chunk of time to tap. You pick an issue that feels like it is a core issue in your life. It could be something like "fear of being seen" or "not feeling good enough".

You know an issue like this impacts so many different areas of your life. If you can find some relief, it won't just feel better in the moment, but would create positive change in other areas of your life.

But when you tap on it...nothing shifts.

Why? Because you're not really tapping on a single issue. Instead what you're tapping on is a broad label of an issue. You are tapping on your "fear of being seen," which is really a summary of thirty different emotional triggers, stories, and states, all collapsed into one phrase.

It’s too wide to be precise, too vague to open the door.

This is not your fault! When most of us learn tapping, we are taught to give our issue or story a title to make the tapping easier.

At times, this works perfectly!

Then there are the times when we're just going through the motions without making progress. Because we are tapping in such a general way, we aren't getting to the meat of the issue.

Although we may feel a little better, there is no lasting change, so we assume that either we are doing something wrong or tapping won't work on this issue.

Problem 4: Your tapping feels clumsy, your tapping phrases feel inelegant, and you assume you are using the wrong words

I'm sure you have experienced tapping along with a practitioner, a teacher, or a tap-along video where the words feel exactly right. It is almost as if they are reading your mind. The tapping phrases resonate perfectly with your soul and you feel relief with each phrase.

Then you try tapping on your own…

The words don't flow and there are no "perfect" phrases that you can feel healing you all the way to your core. You begin to wonder if the person you tapped with before knew some secret that you don't.

As you tap, it becomes clearer and clearer the session is not going the way you would like. You start to feel a little self-conscious or insecure about your tapping.

Your assumption is either that you don't know how to tap OR somehow tapping doesn't work for you.

Instead of fighting on with the tapping, you move on to something else to relieve the feeling that you are not very good at this.

Your struggle with not getting the tapping results you want makes sense

If you are facing any one of these problems, your results will be disappointing. It also makes sense that you are not tapping as much as you want to because why would you waste the time?

One of my goals of sharing these four problems is I want you to know if you are bumping into one or more of these, you are not alone. I know these struggles are real from the stories that I hear from my clients and students, and because I have experienced them all myself.

You are not alone in this struggle AND it doesn't have to be this way.

It is possible to overcome all four of these problems, which will mean better results with each round of tapping, and tapping more often.

The reason you can overcome these problems is because tapping is not at fault and neither are you.

Instead, the issue is about what you are focusing on when you start tapping.

The real goal of a round of tapping
Every time we sit down to tap our goal is to have **total, instantaneous and eternal healing**.

When I say that previous line out loud to my clients and students, there is always a chuckle of recognition.

Even if we know intellectually that total, instantaneous and eternal healing is highly unlikely to result with a few rounds of tapping, a part of us is secretly (or not so secretly) hoping for just that.

Unfortunately, that mindset sabotages results. Having such a lofty goal means we bite off more than we can chew with our tapping by attempting to clear big, complex issues with just a few rounds.

BUT that is not what the goal of a round of tapping should be.

The real goal of tapping isn’t perfection. It’s progress. Working through one layer, one emotional knot at a time. That is what creates true and lasting transformation.

Because when we feel better, there are two outcomes. First (and most obvious), we feel better. Second, a small amount of healing gives us greater vision and understanding of the problem we are trying to heal, which in turn reveals what we should focus on in the next round of tapping.

This moves us from clumsy, unfocused tapping to tapping success!

There are also extra bonuses and benefits to this approach. Tapping sessions flow more naturally and the healing we create is more comprehensive and lasting.

This means we aren't just feeling better in the moment (which is awesome) but our tapping leads to lasting transformation.

Just slowing down is not enough

With that being said, making the decision to tap on smaller pieces of the issue in a more deliberate way is not enough. You also need to know how to find the most effective entry point for your issue.

That means being able to break down your issues into manageable parts along with knowing which ones to focus on first.

Imagine how it would feel when you sat down to tap and:

  • You knew exactly where to start, no matter how complicated the issue
  • You had a clear plan to make sure that you aren't missing any key aspects
  • You focused on an issue big enough to make a difference, but small enough to create lasting success
  • You tapped more consistently because you are going from successful session to successful session
  • You understood what success looked and felt like, with noticeable and significant progress
  • You trusted yourself, tapping, and the process, so that each round of tapping feels like less work

If you want your tapping practice to feel like this, then you are going to love Precision Tapping.

I have been working on Precision Tapping since early this year. I wasn't looking to create a new training. Instead, I was trying to solve the problem of why my clients didn't tap more often. It was during that investigation that I realized the four problems detailed above were getting in the way of so many of my clients and students.

Once I named these problems, I realized that they don't exist because of lack of desire for healing or lack of tapping knowledge. All of my clients and students have both desire and skill.

In order to have tapping success you need three elements. You need a desire for healing and transformation, the skill to get the most out of tapping, and a clearly executable plan to create the results that you want.

This program means that you will be able to:

  • Sit down to tap and know exactly where to begin, clearing any hesitation or uncertainty
  • Avoid the trap of vague, broad labels by creating focused and detailed sessions
  • Re-enter stuck places with confidence and clarity, fostering lasting change
  • Turn one detail of an issue into momentum by clearing detail after detail, which is the most underrated and powerful idea you will learn in this training
  • Stop judging yourself for being "bad" at tapping and trust yourself so you tap more often

The beautiful thing about this approach is how naturally it fits into your tapping routine while producing bigger and faster results.

All the details

Precision Tapping is happening live on Sunday, September 28th from 10 AM to 3:30 PM Eastern.

When you sign up to join us you will receive:

  • Live instruction (Sunday, September 28th, 10 AM to 3:30 PM Eastern)
  • Audio and video recordings to revisit at your convenience
  • 5-day follow-up integration plan
  • Detailed manual with bonus reflection questions
  • Live follow-up Q&A session on October 5th at 12 noon Eastern

In addition to all that, I have five other tools in a resources library that will not only surprise and delight you, they will help you to deepen your understanding of what you have learned.

This library is full of cheat sheets and session-starting reflection questions to help to kick your tapping on the right foot. This will help you to integrate everything you will learn during the training, accelerating your results in future tapping sessions.

This is the most excited I have been about a new training in years. It is the culmination of months of work and almost two decades of tapping on my own and with clients.

When you understand the point of view that I will be teaching, it will transform your tapping and how you approach your issues.

For this breakthrough training, I could easily charge $497 or more. But I'm making this available for just $247.

In the future, this live training will cost twice this or will only be available as part of a one-year training program.

In truth, you're not buying a training. You're investing in a system that will make every single tapping session you do for the rest of your life more powerful and effective.

The value you get from this training will last for as long as you choose to tap.

Limited seating

I'm capping this offer at exactly 100 people. Period. When the places have gone, they're gone. And I won't be doing this again until spring at the earliest.

Lock in your spot before the 100 seats are taken.

Here's what I know about you:

You wouldn't have read this far unless tapping mattered to you. You wouldn't be here unless you genuinely wanted this tool to work better in your life. And you wouldn't be considering this training unless you were tired of the frustration that comes with hit-or-miss results.

I get it. I've been exactly where you are. Wondering if the problem was me, wondering if I was missing some secret, wondering why my tapping didn't feel as powerful as it was supposed to.

The truth is, you're not broken. Your tapping isn't broken. You just need the right approach, and that's exactly what Precision Tapping gives you.

When you walk away from this training on September 28th, you'll never again sit down to a tapping session wondering where to start or whether it will work. You'll have a clear, systematic approach that builds success upon success.

You deserve tapping that works. You deserve to feel confident every time you sit down to heal. You deserve the transformation that drew you to tapping in the first place.

Join us and finally get the results you know are possible.

P.S. I'm only doing this training once before spring, and only for 100 people. If you're tired of inconsistent results and ready for tapping that truly transforms, don't let this opportunity pass you by.
